) Remove the car from the ramps.Disconnect the battery negative terminal.Draw off the fuel from the tank using suitable equipment.1. Remove protective cover (1a) to gain access to nut (1b) used to tension the handbrake cables and loosen it.

1. Tilt the back seat cushion to gain access to the submerged pump cover, then unscrew the retaining bolts and raise the protective cover.2. Disconnect the electrical connection of submerged pump (2a) and remove protective cover (2b).

1. Remove the retaining clip.2. Disconnect the handbrake cable from the right rear brake caliper and bands.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the headlamp alignment corrector rear potentiometer.

2. Undo the bolts fixing the mounting bracket.3. Disconnect the potentiometer connecting rod.4. Remove the headlamp alignment corrector rear potentiometer.

1076B42 CENTRE EXHAUST PIPE COMPLETE WITH: FLEXIBLE CONNECTOR - TORQUE CONVERTER AND CENTRE SILENCER -R.R.1. Unscrew retaining bolts (1a) and remove the fuel tank right guard (1b).Carry out the same operation on the left side.

1. Disconnect from the rapid connectors and the fuel supply and return pipes.

1. Remove the retaining clips (1a), undo the bolts (1b) and remove the rear heat shield (1c).

1. Disconnect the fuel reflux pipe from the tank.2. Disconnect the fuel filler pipe from the tank.

1. Position a hydraulic jack, complete with suitable support, under the fuel tank.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the fuel tank support belts (2b).3. Lower the hydraulic jack and remove the fuel tank.

Refitting ( Removing

) Position the fuel tank on the stand and fit in its seat.Tighten the bolts fixing the fuel tank support belts.

Connect the handbrake cable to the right rear brake caliper and bands and secure with the clip.Connect the electrical connection to the submerged pump and fit the protective cover.

Tighten the bolts securing the protective cover.Fold down the rear seat cushion. Op. 3380A04 HANDBRAKE - ADJUST TRAVELConnect the battery negative terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
