3362710 - 1036H55 hydraulic tappet (one) - replace with cylinder head extension removed

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Remove the hydraulic tappets assembly (1a) and sssociated rockers (1b).2. Separate the hydraulic tappets from the rocker by removing the fastening.

Arrange the hydraulic tappets on an uncontaminated surface and also mark their positions on disassembly so that they can be reassembled in the correct position.

The hydraulic tappet automatically cancels the valve clearance during engine operation. The cancellation of the valve clearance ensures that each valve starts opening exactly in the instant programmed by the cycle. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the new tappet in its seat on the rockers and secure using a new retaining clip.Fit the tappet - rocker assembly into the seat on the cylinder head.
