1. Remove the two clips (1a) and (1b) securing the protective gaiter
(1c).2. Clean the grease off the inside of the constant velocity joint
and remove the circlip from its seating.3. Withdraw the joint from the drive shaft and then remove the protective
gaiter.

Wash the joint thoroughly using diesel
or petrol, and visually check that there are no signs of seizure
or scoring on the balls and their seats.Fit the new protective gaiter.Fit the joint on the drive shaft and secure
it with a new circlip.Fill the gaiter and joint with specific
