3362940 - 4420D16 rear suspension axle - r+r includes bleeding for sports wagon version

Removing ( Refitting )  - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Disconnect the battery negative terminal. - 4420A48  rear suspension coil springs- r r - 4450B13  rear wheels(2) r r - 3340B76  rigid pipe(one), lh or rh, to rear brake cylinder - r r for both pipes. Undo the bolt securing the rpm sensor and disconnect it.1. Disconnect the rear brake caliper flexible pipe from the retaining clip on the axle.2. Remove the bolts securing the rear vertical link (one), right or left.3. Move aside the vertical link including disc and brake calipers, and tie it down using string, a tie-down or similar.
1. Unscrew the retaining nuts.2. Remove the connecting rod for the gas discharge light cluster alignment/correction sensor.
1. Release the flexible pipe between the rigid pipe from the connector to the rigid pipe to the rear brake calipers, from the retaining clip on the rear axle.
Repeat the above-mentioned operations for both sides of the axle.
1. Position the special tool on a hydraulic jack and raise the crossmember to the horizontal position.

1. Construct a further support in 45x20 mm section, dimensions 310x95 mm.
1. Slacken the bolt (1a) a few turns and undo the bolts (1b) retaining the rear crossmember to the bodyshell.
1. Lower the jack and remove the rear axle complete with anchorage supports.
Refitting ( Removing ) Position the axle on the specific support positioned on a hydraulic jack.

Raise the hydraulic jack, bringing the axle to the correct position. Tighten to torque the bolt securing the mountings to the bodyshell.

Secure the flexible pipe between the rigid pipe from the connector to the rigid pipe to the rear brake calipers, to the retaining clip on the rear axle.Connect the flexible pipe of the rear brake caliper to the retaining clip on the axle.Fit the connecting rod for the headlamp alignment adjustment rear sensor.Tighten the connecting rod fixing nuts. - 3340B76  rigid pipe(one), lh or rh, to rear brake cylinder - r r (for both pipes). Fit the rear vertical link (one), left or right.Tighten to torque the bolts securing the rear vertical link (one), left or right.

Check that the tyre pressures are correct.Take the car to a platform bridge so that the wheels can rest on the ground.Check that after bringing the car to standard '0' condition, the height between the wheelarch and the wheel resting on the ground is 74.6 cm (measure taken on the halfway point of the wheel with wheelarch). Tighten to torque the bolts securiing the axle's flexible blocks to the supports under the body.
