2. Release the electrical wiring for the tailgate lock from the retaining spring.3. Unscrew the catch retaining bolts.

1. Disconnect the rod connecting the lock to the lock barrel, tailgate lock side.2. Disconnect the electrical connector for the tailgate lock motor.

3. Remove the tailgate lock.

Refitting ( Removing

) Connect the electrical connector for the tailgate lock motor.

Connect the rod connecting the lock to the lock barrel, tailgate lock side.Fit the tailgate lock in position and tighten the fixing bolts.Connect the electrical connector for the boot opening switch.
