Disconnect the electrical connectors of the wiring harness for radio aerial (1a) and mobile phone (1b).

OBSERVE ALL THE SAFETY REGULATIONS, AS DESCRIBED IN SUBUNIT:

    Op. 5580C AIR BAG SYSTEM 1. Unscrew the facia bolts near the upper glove compartment.2. Unscrew bolts (2a) and (2b) securing the facia near the central facia.3. Unscrew the bolt securing the facia on the left side of the central tunnel.4. Unscrew the facia bolt near the fuse control unit compartment. 1. Undo the lower glove compartment retaining bolt2. Move the lower glove compartment forward on the left side, then unscrew the underlying facia bolt. 1. Prise up the central tunnel trim to release pin (1a) from its hole on the facia (1b).

Proceed with due care in order not to damage the central tunnel trim.

Take up position in the middle of the vehicle near the central tunnel, raise the upper facia trim to release it from its seat, then pull off the facia trim towards you. Refitting ( Removing ) Position the uppper facia trim and fit it into its seat.Prise up the central tunnel trim and insert the locating pin in the hole on the facia.Tighten the bolts securing the upper facia trim to the crossmember near the upper glove compartment, the central console and the fuse control unit to the recommended torque.

Replace the lower glove compartment and secure with a bolt.    Op. 5580C22 AIR BAG MODULE - PASSENGER SIDE - R.R
