3360305 - L26 ELECTRIC AIR PREHEATING IS NOT ACTIVATED WITH LOW EXTERNAL TEMPERATURE()

Outdoor temperature information is displayed correctly on the reconfigurable matrix.
The electrical preheating device (present only on the JTD version) consists of two coils (PTC) of different resistance ratings that generate a maximum power of 700 W when current flows through them. the control unit is able to modulate the heating by activing one coil or both.

System activation is permitted only under the following conditions:

  • key on and climate control system activated;
  • Outdoor temperature lower than 20° C;
  • Coolant temperature lower than 64° C;
  • battery voltage higher than 12.2V;
  • engine speed greater than 700 rpm.

3CHECKING ELECTRICAL CIRCUITAll OKProblems metOperation

Check that:

  • the electrical connectors are properly inserted in the relevant device sockets;
  • continuity/insulation of the electrical connection between the climate control system Node, the control relays and the coils (PTC);
  • supply signal to the coils (PTC).
Continue to Step 4electrical connectors incorrectly connected.Connect the electrical connectors correctly.
