Removing ( Refitting )  - 4450B04  right front wheel r r - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. - 1092D10  air conditioner compressor drive belt - r + r - 1092B68  belt from a/c compressor to alternator drive r + r - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal. - 1016A40  ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r - 1032B10  toothed timing belt - r + r for timing adjustment or replacement - 1032B44  toothed drive pulley - r + r with timing belt removed - 1084A16  oil dip stick pipe - r r - 1076B70  exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r - 1020A20  crank case oil sump - r + r clean seals for sealant application1. Undo the bolt fixing the fan to the front end.Disconnect the electrical connection for the fan.

Raise the lift.2. Turn the fan anti-clockwise and release it from its seating, then remove it from the bottom of the engine compartment. 1. Undo the nut and bolt securing the top heat shield.Raise the lift.2. Undo the nuts securing the bottom heat shield.3. Remove the bottom heat shield (3a) and top heat shield (3b) on the exhaust manifold. 1. Undo the nuts securing the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.Raise the car.2. Disconnect electrical connections (2a) and (2b) from the Lambda probes.

3. Remove the catalytic preconverter. 1. Undo and remove the engine oil filter.Recover the oil in a suitable container. 1. Undo the fixing pin (1a) and remove the heat exchanger (1b) without disconnecting the water pipes. 1. Undo the retaining bolts.2. Remove the automatic belt tensioner. 1. Undo the fixing bolt (1a) and remove the fixed belt tensioner (1b). 1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the crankshaft front cover (1b) and keep the gasket (1c) underneath. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit a new engine oil pump gasket.1. Fit the oil pump using the tool (1a) and check that the timing references (1b) are aligned.

Tighten the fixing bolts to torque.

Fit the auxiliary drive belt fixed belt tensioner and tighten the fixing bolt to torque.

Fit the automatic belt tensioning device for the compressor drive belt.

Fit the heat exchanger to the front oil pump cover and tighten the retaining connector to torque.

Hand-tighten the oil filter cartridge after lubricating the gasket.Fit the catalytic preconverter.Tighten the exhaust manifold fixing nuts to torque.

Connect the lamba probe electrical connections.Fit the exhaust manifold lower heat shield and upper heat shield.Tighten the nuts and the bolt fixing the upper and lower heat shields.Fit the fan in its housing and tighten the fixing bolt.Connect the electrical connection for the fan.
