Removing ( Refitting )     Op. 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R..Disconnect the battery negative terminal.    1016A40 ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.    Op. 1088E10 RADIATOR COOLING FAN - R + R    Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R1. Undo the nuts securing the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.Raise the car.2. Disconnect electrical connections (2a) and (2b) from the Lambda probes.

3. Undo the nuts on the flange (3a) and the bolts on the mounting bracket (3b).4. Remove the catalytic preconverter. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the catalytic preconverter.Tighten the nuts to the flange and mounting bracket.Connect the lamba probe electrical connections.

Lower the vehicle.Tighten the nuts securing the catalytic converter to the central flexible section of the hose pipe.
