3363667 - 5540AA Checking Exterior Lighting Control (C.L.E.)
Using an ohmmeter, check the continuity between the contacts for the exterior light controls left panel in the different positions.
Mode button check:
- MODE button pressed: Check the state of the contact at the connector between pins 11 and 15: 920 ohm 5%
- with the MODE button up arrow pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 11 and 15: CLOSED circuit
- with the MODE button down arrow pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 4 and 15: CLOSED circuit
Headlamp alignment button check
- with the headlamp alignment up arrow pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 12 and 15: 680 ohm 5%
- with the headlamp alignment down arrow pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 12 and 15: CLOSED circuit
Instrument panel light adjustment button check
- with the instrument panel light adjustment button up arrow pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 11 and 15: 240 ohm 5%
- with the instrument panel light adjustment button down arrow pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 4 and 15: 680 ohm 5%
Fog lights button check
- with the fog lights button pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 2 and 15: CLOSED circuit
Parking lights button check
- with the parking lights button pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 14 and 15: CLOSED circuit
Rear fog lamps button check
- with the rear fog lamps button pressed, check the state of the contact between pins 7 and 15: CLOSED circuit
