Description

The car is equipped with two GAS DISCHARGE headlamps (for further details  See E2011  DIPPED HEADLAMPS ). The left headlamp is the Master control unit while the right acts as a Slave unit. The master downloads the dipped beam command, car speed and - to manage the function - signals from two sensors (potentiometric) on the wheel axles that manage front and rear ride. The control unit controls the adjustment motor - located in the headlamps - and tilts it by the required amount on the basis of input.
on the version with gas discharge headlamps, the light beam is adjusted automatically and the two buttons on the left side of the panel are no longer active.
The device is enabled only when the dipped beam headlamps are on. The relay which controls the switching on of the dipped beam headlamps  See E2011  DIPPED HEADLAMPS also supplies the adjustment motors built into the headlamps; this relay for switching on the dipped beam headlamps is managed by the Body Computer: the relay is energized by enablement signals of ignition on (INT) and the stalk unit dipped beam control.
