The oil should be changed with the engine hot to facilitate the drainage of the used oil.

Withdraw the dipstick.Remove the filler cap.Raise the vehicle.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.Position a suitable container under the vehicle by the drain plug.1. Undo the drain plug in the crankcase sump and leave the oil to drain into the container.

Be very careful when removing the drain plug, the oil could be very hot.

Do not let the oil disperse into the atmosphere as this could cause pollution.

1. Remove the cartridge engine oil filter using a suitable tool. Clean the drain plug and tighten it to the recommended torque.Lubricate the new oil filter seal with engine oil and tighten it fully by hand.Lower the vehicle.Refill the engine lubrication circuit (engine and filter) with the recommended oil.

For the use of the vehicle in particularly severe climate conditions it is advisable to use the recommended oil for the engine lubrication circuit.
