3363728 - E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS - Functional description (Right hand drive)

Functional description

The dipped headlamps activation signal is sent to pin 4 of connector I of the Body Computer The 'ignition ON' signal (INT) for the switch H1 reaches the underdashboard control unit B2 at pin 11 of connector H and from there moves on to the Body Computer M1 (pin 9 of connector F). The dipped beams are active even if dusk sensor K85 is present (signal to pin 7 of connector D of M1 ) , and AUTO function is set on stalk unit H5 (signal to pin 2 of connector I of M1 ). Dusk sensor K85 is supplied from the INT line protected by fuse F49 of control unit B2 ; The Body Computer M1 controls the supply of the dipped headlamps sending an earth signal to the underdashboard control unit B2 - from pin 8 of connector F of M1 - which energizes the relay T1: this supplies the dipped headlamps F10 (left) and F11 (right). Each circuit is protected by a control unit B2 fuse: F13 for the left headlamp and F12 for the right one.
