Functional description

Door mirror motors P60 and P61 are controlled by driver door control unit M66 and passenger door control unit M67 , interconnected to one another and body computer M1 and seat/mirror with memory control unit M76 via the CAN line. Inside the two mirrors there is a potentiometer for each motor, which detects the position and sends a feedback signal to the control unit - to pins 10 and 11 of M66 and M67 (pins 15 and 17 of connector E suppy potentiometers with power and earth). Control units M66 and M67 are supplied- at pin 11 of connector D - from a line protected by fuse F32 of underfacia control unit B2 .

Driver door control unit H44 contains a joystick and door mirror control switch.

  • selection of right - left mirror: signal at pin 30 of connector A of M66 ,
  • vertical movement: signal at pin 28 of connector A of M66 ,
  • horizontal movement: signal at pin 29 of connector A of M66 ,
According to requests made while driving, or on the basis of values stored in control unit M67 , control units M66 and M76 control the motors of mirrors P60 and P61 , from pin 4 of connector E (shared) and pins 3 and 5 (horizontal and vertical movement).
