Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a ramp. - 7040L37  gear lever plate - r r - 2127A20  cover of control lever/handle for manual gearbox with hydraulic selection - r r - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Disconnect the battery negative terminal.Raise the lift. - 1080B62  catalytic converter - r + r1. Drill out the heat shield retaining rivets.2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and remove the front retaining clips (2b).3. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield.4. Lower the gear lever mounting and disconnect the electrical connection of the gear controls unit.

5. Remove the gear lever mounting. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the gear lever mounting and connect its electrical connection.

Place the catalytic converter heat shield back in its housing and secure it using new rivets.Tighten the fixing bolts and fit the front clips. - 1080B62  catalytic converter - r + rLower the lift.Connect the battery negative terminal. - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R. - 2127A20  cover of control lever/handle for manual gearbox with hydraulic selection - r r - 7040L37  gear lever plate - r rRemove the vehicle from the ramp.
