Removing ( Refitting )  - 4450B08  right rear wheel r r- 7055B43 REAR WHEEL ARCH liner (one), left or right - R.R.  - 1040A10  fuel tank - r + r and decant fuel1. Disconnect the rapid attachments for the fuel supply and return pipes.2. Release the fuel supply and return pipes from the bands on the fuel tank and remove them.3. Use tool (3a) to unscrew lock collar (3b), then remove the fuel pump (3c) together with the level gauge.

4. Disconnect the pipes (4a) from the tank and remove the filler pipe assembly (4b).
Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the filler pipe assembly.Place the fuel pump in the special housing in the tank.Fit the lock-nut and use the tool to tighten to torque.

Replace the gasket under the fuel pump and take care, when refitting, to check that the gasket is correctly positioned in order to ensure the seal.
Fit the delivery pipe. - 1040A10  fuel tank - r + r and decant fuel- 7055B43 REAR WHEEL ARCH liner (one), left or right - R.R.  - 4450B08  right rear wheel r r - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R. - 3380A04  handbrake - check travel
