Removing ( Refitting )  - 7040A19  cushion padding - r r1. Place one hand under the centre tunnel side trim, then pull in the direction shown by the arrow (A) and, at the same time, extract the trim as shown by the arrow (B). This releases the upper clips (1a) from the openings (1b) and the side clip (1c) from the opening (1d).

Follow the procedure described above carefully because if you only exert force towards the outside (arrow B) then there is the risk of damaging the side clip (1c).

2. Extract the side trim further outwards in order to release the button which is a press fit.3. Remove the centre console side trim. Refitting ( Removing ) Position the side console lock on the centre tunnel, firstly fitting the side retaining clip in the opening and then fitting the upper clips. Attach the console side trim fastening button exerting slight pressure. - 7040A19  cushion padding - r r
