) Op. 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R Release the wiring from the retaining bands.1. Undo the rear fixing bolt (1a), release the front fastenings (1b) and place the engine compartment junction unit (1c) at the side.

1. Disconnect the dashboard/engine electrical connection.

1. Remove the battery container from its housing in the drip tray.

1. Disconnect the left front light cluster electrical connection.

1. Open the retaining clip for the headlamp alignment control unit support, in the direction shown by the arrow.2. Undo the bolt fixing the headlamp alignment control unit support to the light cluster.

1. Release the support complete with control unit from the housing on the lamp.Move the support complete with headlamp alignment control unit outside of the work area.

1. Open the retaining springs.2. Remove the gas discharge dipped headlamp bulb complete with bulb holder from its housing on the lamp.

1. Rotate the gas discharge dipped headlamp bulb (1a) in the direction shown by the arrow and separate it from the bulb holder (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the gas discharge dipped headlamp bulb in place on the bulb holder.Fit the gas discharge dipped headlamp bulb complete with bulb holder in the housing on the lamp.Close the retaining clip.Fit the support complete with control unit in place on the light cluster.Tighten the bolt fixing the control unit support to the light cluster.Close the retaining clip on the headlamp alignment control unit support.Connect the left front light cluster electrical connection.

Position the battery container and fit it in the housings on the battery drip tray.Connect the dashboard/engine electrical connection.

Position the engine compartment junction unit, attach the front fastenings and tighten the fixing bolt.Connect the electrical connections for the engine management control unit.
