Disconnect the electrical connections (1a) from the alternator undoing the fixing nuts (1b).

Move the alternator wiring aside.1. Loosen the lower alternator retaining nut.
Lower the vehicle on the lift.Undo the upper bolt fixing the alternator and remove it.Raise the vehicle on the lift.1. Undo the lower bolt fixing the alternator and remove it.2. Remove the alternator.
Refitting ( Removing ) Position the alternator in the special housing.Screw in the lower bolt securing the alternator without tightening it.1. Position the alternator wiring as illustrated in the diagram below so that it is not in contact with the catalytic pre-converter.
Lower the vehicle on the lift.Tighten the upper bolt fixing the alternator to the recommended torque.

Raise the vehicle on the lift.Fasten the alternator tightening the lower fixing bolt to the recommended torque.
