3360370 - Z70 SLEWING SENSOR ERROR

The diagnostic equipment signals the following error: C1360 Slewing sensor
This error is signalled if the sensor voltage is < 0.3 V or > 4.7 V or if the value sent by the sensor changes suddenly. This means that there is an open circuit or short circuit (positive or earth) for the sensor or the wiring, that the sensor is mechanically damaged or that the reading circuit is damaged.
Results of the tests
1SENSOR COMPATIBILITY CHECKAll OKProblems metOperation
Check that the design number for the slewing sensor is compatible with the part number for the Model-Version-Series in questionContinue to Step 2The design number is not compatible Replace the slewing sensor with one compatible with the Model-Version-Series Op.   3350E30  Continue to Step 4
2OUTPUT VOLTAGE CHECKAll OKProblems metOperation
Check that the output voltage for the slewing sensor (lateral acceleration signal) signal is between 0.3 and 4.7 V See   E7023  ESP Continue to Step 4Voltage out of range Continue to Step 3
3ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS CHECKAll OKProblems metOperation
Check the continuity (no open circuit, short circuit at Vbat, short circuit at Gnd) in the slewing sensor wiring See   E7023  ESP .Check that the sensor is correctly fastened to the tunnelContinue to Step 4Wiring faulty Renew the wiringContinue to Step 4
Sensor fastening faulty Restore the correct fastening for the slewing sensorContinue to Step 4
4CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATIONAll OKProblems metOperation
Delete the errors using the diagnostic equipment.Carry out road to make the control unit check whether there are still errors present. Return to the workshop and check that the fault is no longer present using the diagnostic equipmentEnd of diagnosisThe fault persists and Step 3 has not been carried out yet Continue to Step 2
The fault persists and Step 3 has already been carried out Replace the slewing sensor Op.   3350E30
