3362399 - 1016B12 SINGLE CAMSHAFT HOUSING - R.R. WITH TIMING BELT REMOVED - REPLACE GASKET

Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a ramp.1. Undo the bolt fixing the dipstick to the camshaft housing.2. Remove the tube for the engine oil dipstick.
1. Undo the bolts (1a) fixing the plugs for the spark plugs (1b) and remove them.2. Unscrew the spark plugs and remove.With the engine cold, blow through with compressed air in the spark plug openings to remove any foreign bodies or traces of dirt.3. Undo the fixing bolt (3a) and remove the cam angle sensor (3b).4. Undo the protective caps (4a) and the bolts fixing the camshaft housing (4b) removing the latter from their housings.5. Lift the head extension slightly and fit the tool.

6. Remove the single head extension and recover the underlying gasket.
Refitting ( Removing ) Replace the gasket, fit the single head extension and remove the tool.

Tighten the single cylinder head extension fixing bolts to torque.

Fit the cam angle sensor in its housing and tighten the bolt.Fit the spark plugs in their seats.Tighten the spark plugs to torque, connect the high tension leads and tighten the fixing bolts.

Reposition the oil dipstick pipe and tighten the fixing bolt.
