) Support the engine suitably in order to work on it safely.1. Using the automatic tensioner, loosen the auxiliary drive belt tension.2. Remove the auxiliary drive belt releasing it from the drive pullies.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection (1a) from the air conditioning compressor and the leads (1b) from the alternator.

2. Remove the support (2a) complete with alternator and air conditioning compressor adjusting the nuts (2b) and the bolts (2c).3. Remove the timing side engine support.

1. Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connection.

2. Disconnect the high tension leads from the spark plug seats.3. Remove the ignition coil.

Secure and support the engine using a hydraulic hoist fitted with chains.1. Position the engine mounting bracket on the timing side.

1. Position the engine mounting bracket on the flywheel side.

Fasten the engine to the overhaul stand using service bolts.Release the engine from the hoist.

Refitting ( Removing

) Secure and support the engine using a hydraulic hoist fitted with chains.Undo the retaining bolts and remove the engine mounting brackets from the rotating stand.

Undo the fastenings and remove the supporting tools from the engine, then replace them.Fit the ignition coil.Fit the spark plug high tension leads in their seats.Connect the ignition coil electrical connection.

Fit the timing side engine support.

Fit the support complete with alternator and air conditioning compressor.

Connect the alternator leads.

Connect the electrical connection to the air conditioning compressor

Fit the auxiliary drive belt on the drive pullies, then rotate the automatic tensioner and fit the belt.Remove the hooks and supports positioned previously.
