Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a ramp. - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Disconnect the battery negative terminal. - 1048A10  air cleaner filtering element - replace - 1048A32  sleeve from air cleaner to intake manifold - r + r - 1056B60  single fuel manifold pipe, with injectors - r + r - 1036L40  mount for seal on camshaft in cylinder head extension complete with coil/s - includes cleaning of mating surfaces sealant application1. Remove the protective plugs for the camshaft in the front and rear camshaft housings.2. Rotate the camshaft, using small movements, and fit the tool.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the two camshaft idler gears (1b). Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the two camshaft idler gears and tighten the fixing bolts to torque.

Remove the tool for timing the camshafts and tightening the protective plugs to torque.
