Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R Op. 1072C16 EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R. Op. 1020A30 ENGINE OIL DRAIN PLUG - REPLACE1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) for the manual gearbox/engine connecting bracket (1b).

1. Undo engine block retaining bolts and oil pump barrel retaining bolts (1b)2. Use tool (2a) to remove oil sump (2b)

Refitting ( Removing

) Clean the oil sump and crankcase surfaces thoroughly to remove all traces of sealant.Apply a continuous bead of sealant with no breaks.Place the crankcase sump in its housing without axial movements and secure it using the fixing nuts and bolts.

Wait for at least one hour after fitting the sump before filling with engine oil.
