Description

The vehicle has two additional fog lights in the light clusters.The fog lights are activated through a button on the left of the panel; with the lights on the warning light in the instrument panel also comes on.A special relay, in the engine compartment control unit, controls the switching on of the fog lights via a line protected by a special fuse.

The relay is managed by the Body Computer: the relay is energized in the following conditions:

• go ahead signal with ignition ON (INT);
• signal coming from the switch
• side lights on signal.

In addition, if the side lights are switched off, the fog lights are also switched off even if the button is pressed. When the side lights are turned on again, the fog lamps come back on.If the ignition key is switched OFF and then turned back to the ON position, the operating button must be pressed once again in order to turn the fog lights back on.
