) Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.1. Remove the cartridge engine oil filter (1a) using a suitable tool (1b).

The engine oil and the filter that have been replaced contain substances that are dangerous to the environment. The oil and the filters should be deposited in specially designed containers.

Refitting ( Removing

) Lubricate the new filter gasket with engine oil.Fit the engine oil cartridge filter, complete with gasket, and tighten it fully, by hand. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.Top up the engine lubrication circuit with the recommended oil.

For the optimum operation of the engine in particularly harsh climate conditions (starting at temperatures as low as -35C) use the recommended oil for the engine lubrication circuit.
