3362916 - 4120A10 steering box - r+r - check wheel tow-in if necessary separately

Raise the car on a lift. - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r - 7055B42 Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. (both sides) - 4450B12 front or rear wheels (two) - r+r (right and left)

Before removing the front wheels, check that they are as parallel as possible to the longitudinal axis of the car.

1. Undo the connecting bolt between the steering box pinion and the steering column shaft.

1. Undo the nuts fixing the flanges joining the front section with the ball joint of the exhaust pipe.

1. Undo the bolt fixing the power unit to the reaction rods.

1. Release the clips anchoring the gear selection and engagement flexible transmission cables to the mounting bracket.2. Remove the flexible transmission cable ends from the relay devices.3. Withdraw the flexible transmission cables from the bracket and move them aside.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) securing the track rod end balljoints (1b).2. Using the appropriate tool, remove the track rod end heads from their housings in the steering knuckles.

1. Undo the bolts securing the steering box to the suspension support crossmember.

Release the gear selection and engagement flexible transmission cables from the retaining band.Loosen the bolts securing the suspension support crossmember to obtain sufficient space to remove the steering box.Remove the steering box, withdrawing it from the left of the car. Position the steering box in its seating, inserting it from the left of the car.Secure the front suspension crossmember, tightening the fixing bolts to the specified torque.

Secure the gear selection and engagement flexible transmission cables to the retaining band.Secure the steering box to the front suspension crossmember, tightening the bolts to the specified torque.

Fit the track rod ends in their seatings and tighten the nuts to the specified torque.

Attach the gear selection and engagement flexible transmission cable ends to the relay devices.Attach the gear selection and engagement flexible transmission cables with the retaining clips to the mounting bracket.Secure the power unit to the bottom links, tightening the bolts to the specified torque.
