Functional description
The side lights activated signal is sent
to pin 28 of connector B of the Body Computer

from the
steering column switch unit

The 'ignition ON' signal (INT) for the switch
H1 reaches the underdashboard control unit

at pin 11
of connector H and from there moves on to the Body Computer
M1
(pin 9 of connector F).
The side lights are active even if dusk
sensor

is present (signal to pin 7 of connector D of
M1
)
, and AUTO function is set on stalk unit

(signal to pin

).
The dusk sensor

is supplied
from the INT line protected by fuse F49 of control unit

button in the switch unit

The signal is sent by the headlamp internal electronic circuit,
which manages activation of the relevant side light.

F31 (right) and number plate lights (in the unit F52 - from pins
5, 6, 9 of D and 38 of connector E).
The Body Computer
M1
is connected,
via the CAN line, to the instrument panel

to manage
the side light activation warning light and the 'light fault' warning
light in the case of faults in the circuit.
