3362404 - 1020A20 CRANKCASE OIL SUMP - R.R CLEAN SURFACES FOR SEALANT APPLICATION

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.1. Undo bolts (2a) and remove lower flywheel guard (2b). 1. Undo the drain plug and drain the engine oil.

Recover the engine oil in a suitable container.

2. Undo the bolts fixing the crankcase sump.3. Cut the crankcase sump sealant using the tool.

4. Remove the crankcase sump. Refitting ( Removing ) Clean the matching surfaces of crankcase sump and cylinder block.Apply silicone sealant around the edge of the crankcase sump.Refit the crankcase sump and secure by tightening the bolts to the specified torque.

Tighten the engine oil drain plug to the crankcase sump to the recommended torque.

Place the lower flywheel shield back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.    Op. 0010T10 CHANGE ENGINE OILRemove the car from the ramp.
