Removing ( Refitting ) Proceed as follows for cars with conventional winscreen washer jets.1. Open the bonnet lid (1a) suffciently to disconnect the windscreen washer pipe (1b) from the branch valve (1c).2. Prise the corrugated pipe carrier tube out of the bonnet lid and place to one side. Proceed as follows for cars with heated windscreen washer jets. - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Disconnect the battery negative terminal. - 7025A22  soundproofing lining for bonnet lid - r+r1. Disconnect the electrical connections for the heated washer jets.

2. Disconnect the washer inlet pipes from the jets.3. Release the washer fluid delivery pipe (3a) and the heated jet wiring (3b) from the retaining clips.4. Prise the corrugated tube with screen washer fluid delivery pipe and heated jet wiring from the bonnet lid and place to one side. Proceed as follows to remove the bonnet lid.1. Use a screwdriver to prise up the retaining clips (without removing).2. Prise out the telescopic strut on the bonnet lid side and remove.Carry out the same operation for the remaining telescopic strut. 1. Unscrew the bolts securing the bonnet lid hinges, lid side. 1. With the aid of a second operator, remove the bonnet lid and place on a suitable board. Refitting ( Removing ) Check the bonnet lid paintwork is undamaged.Touch up the paintwork if necessary.Fit the bonnet lid and screw in the bonnet lid hinge bolts, lid side, without tightening to torque.Loosen the catch retaining bolts. - 7025A10  bonnet lid - squareRefit the telescopic strut, press-fitting the ends of the anchoring pinsin their seats on the lid side.Proceed as follows for cars with conventional washer jets.Refit the corrugated pipe carfrier tube.Connect the washer fluid delivery pipe from the branch valve.For cars with conventional washer jets, proceed as follows.Refit the pipe carrier tube.Secure the heated jet wiring and the washer fluid pipe to the retaining clips.Connect the washer fluid pipes to the jets.Connect the heated washer jet electrical connectors.
