194002007 - J042 RIGHT DOOR MIRROR ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT NOT WORKING

When the control is operated the right external mirror does not move.
The mirror is adjusted by the Passenger Door Node according to information from the adjustment joysticks located on the driver''s door handle.
The joystick information (selection, controls) is sent from the Driver''s Door Node to the Passenger Door Node.
1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connect and check the following at the Driver''s Door Node:In errors ambient

  • that there are no faults
In parameters ambient

  • the plausibility of the parameters for joystick (left/right/up/down).
Move on to Step 21. Presence of faults1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment.
2. Mirror selector joystick parameters (left/right/up/down) not plausible.2. Move on to Step 3

Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected to the diagnostic connector, check the following at the Passenger Door NodeIn errors ambient

  • that there are no faults.
In active diagnosis ambient

  • the operation of the mirror movement motors.
Move on to Step 31. Presence of faults1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment.

3MIRROR ADJUSTMENT JOYSTICK OPERATION CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Remove the right rear view mirror, disconnect the connector for the movement motors, remove the Passenger Door Node and check:

  • the continuity between the connector and the Passenger Door Node;
  • the presence of the joint supply positive.
