Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the battery terminal (-).

1. Remove the soundproof cover secured to the engine by three pins.
1. Undo the coolant drain plug on the coolant pump and drain the coolant.
Collect the coolant in a suitable container.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Loosen the collar and disconnect the upper coolant input sleeve to the radiator, thermostat side.3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the thermostat cover (3b).4. Remove thermostat (4a) and sealing ring (4b).
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Clean the sealing surfaces, then fit the thermostat (1a) with a new sealing ring (1b).
Spread the sealing ring with silicone grease (white).
2. Place the thermostat cover (2a) in its housing and secure it by tightening the bolts (2b) to the recommended torque.

3. Connect the upper coolant input sleeve to the radiator, thermostat side, and tighten the band.4. Connect the electrical connection to the engine coolant temperature sensor.
1. Tighten the coolant drain plug on the coolant pump to the specified torque.
Apply silicone paste to the plug before fitting.

- Refit the soundproofing cover in its seat and secure to the engine with the three pins.- Connect the negative battery terminal.    Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
