Removing ( Refitting )

Follow the safety instructions    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS

- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE    Op. 7040D30 ENGINE BAY FRONT BEAM COVER - R R    Op. 1048A42 SLEEVE FROM FLOW METER TO TURBO CHARGER AIR INLET PIPE - R + R    Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the comrpessor tandem supply and return pipe (1b) to the coupling and release it.2. Release the retaining clip (2b) from the pipe connected to the drier filter (2a) to release the tandem pipe. 1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the tandem pipe (1b) to the condenser (1c) and release it. 1. Release the coupling engagement solenoid from the mounting and disconnect the electrical connection (1a) from the air conditioning compressor (1b) to free the work area.

Working from the top of the engine compartment, extract the air conditioning compressor tandem supply and return pipe and remove it from the vehicle. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the air conditioning compressor tandem supply and return pipe is not damaged and replace all the seals with new parts.- Position the air conditioning compressor tandem supply and return pipe on the vehicle.- Fit the pipe on the compressor, screw in the coupling fixing bolt and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Connect the electrical connection for the compressor engagement solenoid to the air conditioning compressor and attach the mounting.

	AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR ENGAGEMENT ELECTROMAGNET	See L020 AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR ENGAGEMENT ELECTRO-MAGNET

- Fit the upper connecting pipe to the condenser, screw in the nut fixing the upper coupling to the condenser and tighten to the recommended torque.

- Fit the tandem pipe on the coupling, screw in the fixing nut and tighten to the recommended torque.
