Follow these precautions when working on the tailgate assembly:- If working on the hinges, take care not to damage the paintwork.- After an adjustment that has involved moving the hinges, the tailgate must be removed and the paint in the area of the hinges retouched.- Work carefully on the fitting components and, to avoid damage, use the recommended tools correctly.- If working on the hinges, take care not to damage the paintwork.
