Removing ( Refitting )     Op. 2130A10 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - R + R

On this vehicle in order to remove-refit the automatic gearbox, the power unit has to be removed-refitted.    Op. 1004B14 POWER UNIT WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION R + Rand then separated at the bench.    Op. 1004D20 POWER UNIT (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION) REMOVED, REMOVE AND RE-BUILDThe latter operation includes removal/refitting of the automatic gearbox.

    Op. 1024B20 ENGINE FLYWHEEL - R + R FOR VERSIONS WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION- Release and remove the oil seal from the front crankshaft cover.

Take care not to damage the sealing surfaces during the "destructive" removal of the oil seal.

Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Fit a new oil seal (1a) on the crankshaft front cover using the tool (1b).

Before installation, spread the lip of the new seal lightly with white silicone grease.
