194002309 - 0010T40 CHANGE MANUAL GEARBOX OIL

Changing the manual gearbox oil is not a planned maintenance operation and is only carried out during removing-refitting operations that involve draining the gearbox oil.

- Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.- Unscrew the manual gearbox oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain out into a suitable container.

Do not let the oil disperse into the environment as indiscriminate dispersion of this product causes pollution.

- Fit an oil drain plug complete with new seal and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Undo the gearbox oil level check plug.- Unscrew the filler plug and top up with the recommended oil until it comes out of the gearbox oil level plug opening.

- Tighten the filler cap to the recommended torque.
