) 1. Disconnect the gear selector cable from the gear selector and from the bracket.2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the gear selector on the automatic gearbox.

3. Undo the nut (3a) and remove the lever (3b) from the gear selector on the automatic gearbox.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and rotate the gear selector on the automatic gearbox (1a) to release the cable loom support (1c).

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for the electromagnetic solenoid valves and from the pressure regulator.

2. Undo the oil temperature sensor retaining bolt.

- Move the electrical wiring away from the solenoid valve assembly.1. Undo the bolts fixing the gear selection solenoid valve assembly.2. Disconnect the lever from the gear selector.3. Working from underneath the vehicle, remove the gear selection solenoid valve assembly.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Check the condition of the seals and make sure they are correctly positioned.

- Place the gear selection solenoid valve assembly in its housing.- Connect the lever for the gear selector.- Tighten the bolts fixing the gear selection solenoid valve assembly to the recommended torque.

- Refit the electrical wiring- Tighten the oil temperature sensor retaining bolt.- Connect the electrical connection to the pressure regulator.- Connect the electrical connections to the electromagnetic valves.- Place the gear selector on the automatic gearbox and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque..
