194002336 - 2135A16 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION LEVER HANDLE - R R (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION)

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Raise the button (1a) until the retaining tooth (1b) can be releaased.
Proceed gradually whilst lifting the button. Lifting it too much could cause the pin (1c) and the spring (1d) to come out with it then being impossible to refit the button correctly. This condition is highlighted by the impossibility of placing the lever in P.
To prevent the button from being lifted accidentally during the later stages, fit a piece of adhesive tape to secure the button to the grip.
1. Release and remove the frame for the boot (1b) from the housing and lift it as necessary to disconnect the electrical connection (1b).
