) - Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. Op. 0010T44 CHANGE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUIDS1. Undo the radiator coolant drain plug.

Collect the coolant in a suitable container.

1. Undo the lower bolts fixing the solenoid valve assembly cover.2. Undo the nut (2a) and disconnect the flange for the radiator oil supply and return pipes (2b) automatic gearbox side.

- Release the electrical wiring from the retaining bands.1. Loosen the band and disconnect the lower coolant outlet hose from the radiator, radiator side.2. Retract the safety collar (2a), remove the clip (2b) and disconnect the return pipe to the radiator (2c), radiator side.

1. Retract the safety collar (1a), remove the clip (1b) and disconnect the oil supply pipe to the radiator (1c), radiator side.2. Remove the radiator oil supply and return pipes.

1. Undo remaining upper bolts (1a) and remove the solenoid valve assembly cover (1b).

1. Disconnect the gear selector cable from the gear selector and from the bracket.2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the gear selector on the automatic gearbox.

3. Undo the nut (3a) and remove the lever (3b) from the gear selector on the automatic gearbox.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and rotate the gear selector on the automatic gearbox (1a) to release the cable loom support (1c).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection tfrom the automatic transmission output rpm sensor.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and disconnect the electrical connection (2b) for the electronic automatic transmission wiring.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the electronic automatic transmission input rpm sensor.

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for the electromagnetic solenoid valves and from the pressure regulator.

2. Undo the oil temperature sensor retaining bolt.

1. Remove the electrnic automatic transmission wiring.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the electronic automatic transmission wiring in its housing.- Tighten the oil temperature sensor retaining bolt.- Connect the electrical connection to the pressure regulator.- Connect the electrical connections to the electromagnetic valves.- Connect the electrical connection to the electronic automatic transmission input rpm sensor.- Connect the electrical connection for the electronic automatic transmission wiring and secure it using the bolts.- Connect the electrical connection to the electronic automatic transmission output rpm sensor.- Place the gear selector on the automatic gearbox and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Place the lever in position on the gear selector and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the electrical connection to the gear selector on the automatic gearbox.- Connect the gear selector cable to the gear selector and to the bracket.- Apply silicone sealant to the solenoid valve assembly cover, then place it in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Place the radiator oil supply and return pipes in their housings.- Connect the radiator oil supply pipe, radiator side and secure it using the clip.- Connect the radiator oil return pipe, radiator side and secure it using the clip.- Connect the radiator lower coolant outlet hose, radiator side, and tighten the band.- Connect the flange for the radiator oil supply and return pipes, automatic gearbox side and secure it using the nut.- Secure the electrical wiring with the bands.- Tighten the coolant drain plug to the radiator.
