Removing ( Refitting )

Before removing and refitting the control unit the following preliminary operations must be carried out.

- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.- Wait for 10 minutes before continuing.

    Op. 7040B18 LOAD COMPARTMENT LOAD PLATFORM SIDE TRIM ONE LH OR RH - R.R

Remove the left side trim.

1. Release the electrical connection (1a) from the mounting and disconnect it from the additional junction unit (1b).2. Undo the fixing bolts and detach the additional junction unit.

1. Mark the position using a suitable screwdriver, release the seven electrical connections (1a) from the mountings to disconnect them and remove the additional junction unit (1b) from the vehicle.

Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the junction unit is not damaged.- Connect the seven electrical connections underneath the junction unit correctly making sure they are properly attached.

- Fit the junction unit on the bodyshell and secure it using the three bolts.- Connect the electrical connection to the junction unit and attach it.

    Op. 7040B18 LOAD COMPARTMENT LOAD PLATFORM SIDE TRIM ONE LH OR RH - R.R- Test the operation of the electrical system.- Connect the negative battery terminal.
