- Carry out the operations described below to adjust the door in a vertical and lengthwise direction.- For the driver''s front side door:    Op. 5010C57 LEFT LOWER AIR DIFFUSER - R R    Op. 7040A44 LEFT DASHBOARD SIDE TRIM - R.R.    Op. 7040A30 LEFT LOWER DASHBOARD TRIM - R.R.    Op. 7025A24 BONNET LID OPENING LEVER - R+R    Op. 7040L39 LEFT FRONT DOOR COMPARTMENT SILL PLATE R R    Op. 5505A35 MAIN BODY COMPUTER/JUNCTION UNIT - R.R.- For the passenger front side door:    Op. 5010C55 RIGHT LOWER AIR DIFFUSER - R+R    Op. 7040A45 RIGHT DASHBOARD SIDE TRIM - R.R.    Op. 5570T85 CD/AUDIO PLAYER LOADER - R R    Op. 7040A31 DASHBOARD COMPARTMENT ASSEMBLY - R.R.    Op. 7040L41 RIGHT FRONT DOOR COMPARTMENT SILL PLATE RR1. If the adjustment is carried out after having removed the door, tighten the hinge bolts to the recommended torque.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) fixing the check strap (2b) and make sure it is in the correct position when the door is closed again.3. Loosen the bolts fixing the hinges to the bodyshell on both the outside and the inside (detail A).4. Adjust the position of the door, in the directions shown by the arrows using the slotted openings in the bolts so that it is perfectly aligned with the bodywork.

It is advisable to work on the hinges, one at a time. The arrows indicate the possible movements for the adjustment.

- When the adjustment is completed, tighten the door hinge bolts, bodyshell side, to torque.

- Carry out the operations described below for the transverse adjustment of the door in relation to the door housing seal.1. Loosen the bolts (1a) fixing the door striker (1b). 1. Loosen the bolts, door side, fixing the door hinges.2. Adjust the position of the door, in the directions shown by the arrows using the slotted openings in the bolts so that it is perfectly aligned with the bodywork.

It is advisable to work on the hinges, one at a time. The arrows indicate the possible movements for the adjustment.

- When the adjustment is completed, tighten the door hinge bolts, door side, to torque.

- Adjust the door striker and tighten the fixing bolts to torque.1. Take out the door check strap (1a) and tighten the fixing bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.
