194001601 - E5020 ENGINE COOLING - OPERATING DESCRIPTION

The engagement of the engine cooling fans in the radiator N011 prewiring is managed by means of the signals coming from the engine management control unit M010:- 1st level fan engagement - pin 7 of N011 -, from pin 90 of connector A of M010;- 2nd level fan engagement - pin 4 of N011 -, from pin 69 of connector A of M010;- 3rd level fan engagement - pin 1 of N011 -, from pin 94 of connector A of M010.The radiator assembly N011 receives a power supply (direct battery) via the special fuses located in the engine compartment junction unit B001: respectively from fuse F6 for the fan low speed relay (pin 3 of N001) and from fuse F7 for the fan high speed relay (pin 7 of N011).Pin 2 (low speed fan) and 5 (high speed fan) are connected to earth C045.The engine coolant temperature sensor K036 receives a reference earth and sends the respective temperature signal to the engine management control unit M010, pin 41 and pin 58 of connector B.The linear sensor K120 receives a power supply and reference earth from pins 22 and 12 of connector A of M010 and sends the pressure signal to pin 13 of connector A of M010.
