Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the battery terminal (-).

- Disconnect the electrical connection for the exhaust gas temperature sensor on the particle filter.

-	Cat. downstream temperature sensor	See K188 CAT. DOWNSTREAM TEMPERATURE SENSOR

1. Undo the exhaust gas temperature sensor on the particle filter and remove it. Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the exhaust gas temperature sensor in its housing on the particle filter and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Connect the electrical connection for the exhaust gas temperature sensor to the particle filter.- Connect the negative battery terminal.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
