N.B.: The airbag warning light is turned on by a command sent from the Air Bag Node to the B-CAN network and then on to the Instrument Panel Node.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Use an Examiner to check the AIR BAG NODE for system/component faults	Move on to Step 2	System/components faulty	Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2	CHECK AIRBAG WIRING	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the comb connector is correctly inserted in the airbag control unit	Move on to Step 3	Comb connector disconnected	Insert comb connector correctly
3	ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	With the Examiner in Instrument Panel Node mode check that the airbag warning light is correctly activated in Active Diagnosis.	Move on to Step 4	1.The airbag warning light does not operate correctly	1. Replace the instrument panel    Op. 5560B10 CONTROL PANEL - R+R
			2.The warning light operates correctly	2. Replace the Air Bag control unit    Op. 5580C14 AIR BAG ECU - R+R
4	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
