Whilst driving there is noise coming from the fan. This diagnosis can only be made after    See table S015 VEHICLE RUNNING NOISECarry out the latter first.
The climate control is working normally but there is excessive noise coming from the passenger compartment fan.
PRELIMINARY CHECKSALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

FAN CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
1Check the climate control fan.In particular, check:

  • that the fan and spiral is clean, if there are any foreign bodies, deposits of dust on the vanes and/or leaves remove them/blow through moving the fan from the engine support;
  • that there are no breaks or cracks in the fan;
  • there are no vibrations or noise at low speed (check the operation with the fan detached from the assembly but the electrical connection fitted).
"The operation for determining vibrations should be carried out with great care wearing protective goggles to avoid fragments of the fan being expelled into the surrounding area"
Move on to Step 21.Fan dirty1.Clean the fan casing and all the ducts.
