	CHECK TO BE PERFORMED	RESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1	At operating temperature, with the engine idling, the reading should be between 10 and 120°C. The test may be said to be concluded	Move on to Step 2
2	Press the START/STOP button and turn off the engine.Disconnect the cable loom connector from the temperature sensor and fuel heating resistance    See K100 TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND HEATING RESISTANCEPress the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between the sensor Pin 4 and Earth. Ensure is between 4.8 and 5.2 V. Go on to Step 4    See K100 TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND HEATING RESISTANCE	Move on to Step 3
3	If faults are present, repair or if necessary replace the electrical wiring between the engine management control unit and the resistance    See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENTThe test can be considered over	Replace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
4	Measure the voltage between Pins 3 and 4 of the sensor. Check it is between 4.8 and 5.2 V    See K100 TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND HEATING RESISTANCE	Move on to Step 3
5	Replace the diesel heating resistance and ensure the fault has disappearedOp. 1044D10 FUEL HEATER - R + R	Repair the original heater coil and replace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
