194003919 - 1060GH DIESEL PRESSURE CHECK

CHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1With the engine idling and warm, with all users off and the accelerator pedal not operated, the target Diesel Pressure and the measured Diesel Pressure must be in a range between 200 and 500 barsMove on to Step 3
2When the accelerator pedal is pumped several times, the measured Diesel Pressure must be in a range between 200 and 1500 bar.The test can be considered overMove on to Step 3
3Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.Disconnect the cable loom connector from the fuel pressure sensor.    See K083 FUEL PRESSURE SENSORTurn the ignition key ON. Measure the voltage between Pin 3 of the sensor and Earth, checking that it is within a range between 4.8 and 5.2 V.    See K083 FUEL PRESSURE SENSORMove on to Step 5Move on to Step 4
4If faults are present, repair or if necessary replace the electrical wiring between the engine control unit and the debimeter.    See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENTThe test can be considered overReplace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
5Measure the voltage between Pins 1 and 3 of the sensor. Check it is in a range between 4.8 and 5.2 V    See K083 FUEL PRESSURE SENSORMove on to Step 4
6Measure the voltage between Pin 2 of the sensor and Earth, ensuring it is in a range between 4.8 and 5.2 V.    See K083 FUEL PRESSURE SENSORMove on to Step 4
7Replace the pressure sensor and check the fault has disappeared    Op. 1060G28 FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR ON FUEL MANIFOLD TO INJECTORS - R.RRepair the original pressure sensor and replace the engine management control unit.    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
