Removing ( Refitting )     Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R    Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R    Op. 7045A10 FRONT SEAT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.(left).    Op. 7040L71 BOX ON TUNNEL REAR COATING - R R    Op. 5010C32 AIR VENT ON TUNNEL COVER FOR REAR SEATS - R.R.    Op. 7040L20 TUNNEL COVER - R.R    Op. 7040A65 CONSOLE SIDE CLOSING (ONE) - R.R.1. Lift up the gear selector and engagement cables from the manual gearbox control lever.2. Undo the clips and disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables from the manual gearbox control lever mounting.
1. Disconnect the gear selection and engagement flexible rods from the gearbox.
1. Working on the clips (1a) release the flexible gear selection and engagement rods (1b) from the mounting bracket (1c).
1. Raise the selection unit until the hole (1a) is aligned with hole (1b), then insert a 5 mm diameter pin (1c) and lock the assembly in this position.
- Remove the gear selection and engagement flexible rods releasing them towards the engine compartment. Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the gear selection and engagement flexible rods in their housings introducing them via the passage in the engine compartment bulkhead.
Check that the rod support diaphragm is correctly housed in the engine compartment bulkhead.
- Connect the flexible rods to the gearbox control lever joints.- Place the gear lever in NEUTRAL and move it to the left (driver''s side) and lock it in this position.1. Prepare the auto-adjustment device (quick adjuster) located on the gear selection cable by pulling the component (1a) backwards and lowering the spring (1b); release the component (1a) to keep the spring (1b) in position.
