) - Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and extract it.- Open the bonnet. Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R1. Release the coolant vent pipe (1b) from anchorage (1a) and move away from the working area.Only for 2.2 petrol versions2. Release the auxiliary connector from the anchorage clips and remove from the battery mount/cradle.

For all versions1. Cut the bands (1a) retaining the wiring (1b) to the mount/cradle.2. Undo the bolts (2a) fixing the mounting (2b) to the strut and to the bracket on the bodywork strut.- Remove the mount/cradle from the vehicle.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the mounting is not damaged.- Place the mounting in position on the vehicle.- Screw in the bolts fixing the mount/cradle to the strut and tighten to the recommended torque.

- Secure the collars retaining the wiring to the battery mount/cradle.Only for 2.2 petrol versions- Attach the auxiliary connector to the mount/cradle.For all versions- Fit the coolant breather pipe in the clips anchoring it to the battery mount/cradle. Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R- Close the bonnet.
