194001407 - E2530 INSTRUMENT LIGHTING - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION (RIGHT HAND DRIVE)

The INT supply line (key turned to ON position) protected by fuse F49 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002, provides the lighting for the controlson the tunnel H036, the hazard warning lights control H020, the right control panel H091 and the manual air conditioning M070 - pin 28.The lighting of the front door controls H044 and H050 is managed by the driver side door control unit M066 and passenger side door control unit M067 , supplied at pin 11 of connector D by a line protected by fuse F32 of the underfacia control unit B002 , and connected- pin 15 and 16 of connector B - via the CAN line to the Body Computer M001 .Similarly, the lighting of the controls for the electric windows in the rear left H053 and right H054 doors is managed by the boot control unit M063 , supplied - at pin B8 of connector A - by a line protected by fuse F36 of the underfacia control unit B002- pin A7 an B7- connected via the CAN line to the Body Computer M001 .The Body Computer M001 receives the side lights on signal at pin 28 of connector G.    See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTSThe supply with the side lights on is provided by the Body Computer M001 respectively:- from pin 18 of connector H: at the radio preparation, at the telephone preparation D099 and at the front cigar lighter/current socket P050;- from pin 40 of connector E. to the electrochromic interior mirror P065 and to the rear current socket P052.The "MODE", "MODE +" AND "MODE -" controls in the right control panel H091 send analogue signals to the instrument panel E050 at pin 16 of connector B and pin 9 of connector A.The instrument panel E050 receives an ignition operated supply (INT from steering lock control unit) - pin 1 of connector A - from the line protected by fuse F37 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002 and directly from the battery - pin 2 of connector A - via the line for fuse F53 of B002. Pin 7 of connector A is earthed. The Body Computer M001 is connected via the CAN line to the instrument panel E050 from which it receives the "brightness adjustment" signal which is transmitted to the radio node or Connect Nav+ P020, to the automatic climate control system control unit M060 and to the steering wheel node M093.    See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES
